The Board of NIRA is set to position .ng as the premium domain in Africa and ultimately one of the top world domains. This is reflected with the extraordinary and innovative provision in the newly released policies and procedures to guide the .ng registry. The Board having considered all inputs recieved has approved NIRA's first set of Policies and Procedures. One key issue is that every stakeholder input and contribution was carefully examined and considered in arriving at the final decisions. This reflects the key principle of the current baord to carry all stakeholders along and be a listening one. The NIRA board is therefore very appreicative of all those who sent in their comments and contributions to the policy review, for the corporate stakeholders we specially recognise the inputs of NITDA, NCC, CPN, NCS, ATCON, NIG, ISPAN. In all there are eleven policies that govern registry operations, glossoray for al terms used, one policy on Directors code and the list of reserved domains |
