Bid Price of Platinum Domain Category 

Nigeria Internet Registration Association offers a BUY NOW Bid Price for all slots in the Platinum Domain category in order to offer potential buyers the option to bypass the auction process and pay a pre-determined value.   This is duly articulated in the NIRA AUCTION PROCESS AND PROCEDURE document.   The BUY NOW Bid price shall be Seven Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira only (N7, 500, 000) per slot for the Inaugural auction.

In consonance with the NiRA auction process and procedure, Names provided by the bidder is subject to the approval of the executive board of NiRA

DOMAINS WHICH ARE CORPORATE IDENTITIES OF THE INTENDED BUYERS AND THEIR TRADEMARKS (THAT IS, NAMES DIRECTLY RELATED TO PERSON(S) OFFERING TO BUY THE SPECIFIC DOMAINS) ARE AVAILABLE AT A CONCESSIONARY PRICE OF N3 MILLION EACH.  SUCH DOMAINS ARE AVAILABLE ON BUY-OWN-USE TERMS, AND NOT FOR RESALE PURPOSES. 

There are NO restrictions on the names to be used in the Platinum Domain Auction as long as they are not offensive, repugnant to the Nigerian Internet community, or conflicts with the interests of NIRA, and they conform to the NIRA Domain Name Policy.
